¹³ After those who were carrying the ark of the Lord had taken six steps, he sacrificed oxen and fattened animals, ¹⁴ dancing in front of the Lord with all of his strength and wearing a linen ephod. ¹⁵ So David and the entire assembly^[a] of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and trumpet blasts.
